Reiki
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese healing technique used for stress reduction, relaxation, and healing. Reiki was discovered in the 1920’s by Mikao Usui in Japan. Since then, it has expanded world-wide as a spiritual practice and healing technique. Breaking down the word, “Rei” means “universal”, or “spiritual wisdom,” and “ki” means “universal life force energy” – also known as Qi, Chi, Prana, or biofield energy.
In Eastern philosophy, Reiki is used to channel life force energy into a person, animal, or object. The practitioner is “attuned” by a Reiki Master to channel Reiki energy, in which they use their hands to pass this life energy from the realm of spiritual consciousness to those in need. Reiki sessions usually involve a practitioner placing their hands over or on the clothed body, in which they are channeling life energy to the client. Clients often report feelings of warmth, tingling, or a deep sense of peace during their session.
Reiki has been studied for conditions like pain, anxiety, and depression. Reiki is a complementary treatment meaning it is meant to be used along side or in conjunction with other traditional medical treatments

Internal Pelvic Floor Bodywork
For a long time, I have referred to the hips as Grand Central Station as everything from a lift of the arm to an ankle rotation to a yawn either moves through or is supported by this area. I am excited to say that I can now offer work in this long ignored area that desperately needs it. I am very encouraged by the results I have been getting and am looking forward to expanding my knowledge base and getting the word out about the importance of this work.
Pelvic Floor Bodywork includes and is not limited to abdominal massage, external pelvic work including hips, gluts, lower back, lower abdomen and psoas, and internal work through the vagina and or anus. All work is only done after confirmation of consent with the client with frequent checks before and during work. Those under 18 are not cleared to receive this work.
At this time, my focus is on the female pelvis as I find that males do very well with only external pelvic massage through this area, where as many females, even those who have not given birth, can benefit from this work.
For more information and to schedule with me, it is required to have a conversation with me to make sure that this is the right thing for you at this time in your treatment journey. Call or text Cameo at 503-610-8816
